1:00 - 2:00 Beginner Fundamentals with Vera Rowe
In this workshop you will learn the fundamentals of salsa: the basic step, right and left turn, copa, and the inside and outside turn. These moves are the stepping stones to learning how to dance salsa. You will also learn about correct timing, rhythm, and technique.
2:00 - 3:00 Salsa Footwork with Jayson Molina For all levels.
Come find out why Jayson is so Famous well known. He can put together some of the most interesting and original footwork combo’s known in the latin dance world. In this workshop you will learn different steps that you can utilize on the social dance floor. In salsa music there are percussion sections in the music, which dictate that you break away from your partner and do freestyle footwork. This class is a great way to get you started creating stylish new moves.
3:00-4:00 Cha Cha Cha with Jayson Molina. For all levels.
Come and learn Puerto Rican style ChaChaCha form one of the Pioneers. Different from the typical Ballroom style ChaChaCha, Jayson will teach you Puerto Rican style ChaChaCha which has lots of flavorful and sassy moves.
4:00- 5:00 Intermediate Salsa Partnering on1
Come learn some intermediate turn patterns with Jayson Molina to spice up your social dancing. If you are looking to learn something different and unique to make you stand out more own the dance floor, this is your opportunity to learn from one of the best in the world. Jayson is famous for teaching intricate moves that have lots of style.
5:00 - 6:00 Practice party.
Stay for an hour and dance with Jayson Molina. Practice your new moves and get a chance to mingle with the salsa dancers in Portsmouth and beyond.

Bio: Jayson Molina has been in the Salsa business for over 20 years. Starting at the age of 8, Molina began under the guidance of mambo king, Eddie Torres and has grown artistically as a dancer to be one of the headliners of salsa congresses worldwide. He is one of the reasons why people travel thousands of miles across the globe to events like the Puerto Rico Salsa Congress and West Coast Salsa Congress, attracting over 20,000 people annually.
Jayson has been teaching ever since the age of 12, growing up in New York City where the soul in Salsa comes from. Molina has traveled the world spreading the Salsa fever and creating international awareness everywhere his path has taken him. He has shared the stage with stars such as, Tito Puente, Celia Cruz, La Sonora Ponceña, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Tito Nieves, Tito Rojas and Oscar D'Leon. Molina was one of the first to bring Salsa to Europe and because of his love for teaching; he opened up his own dance school in Rome, Italy in 2001. He lived there for almost 4 years dancing with his current partner, Alessandra Lo Piero, and directing his group, Los Rompecabezas.
Molina spends about 50 percent of his time away from home – attending congresses, teaching workshops, performing, choreographing and training groups all over the world. Apart from Italy and Puerto Rico, he has trained dance companies in places like Spain, Venezuela, Chicago, California, and Germany.
